国際交流センター｜サレジオ高専公式サイト

本校では育英高専時代から様々な国際交流活動を行ってきましたが、2005年の移転を機に国際交流活動を取りまとめるため国際交流委員会が発足しました。
翌年、国際交流室として本格的な活動が開始、2012年度より国際交流センターとなりました。

現在、本校の教育目標の一つである「国際性」："海外の人々と交流するために必要とする基本的な力"を養うため海外のサレジオ会との強い連携を活かした様々なプログラムを提供しています。

［１］サレジオ高等教育機構IUSについて

世界に広がるサレジオ会系学校のうち、高等教育（大学レベル）以上の教育を行っている教育機関で「サレジオ高等教育機構IUS」を構成しています。その中で「工学教育」を行っている高等教育機関により、2005年5月にIUS工学グループ（IUS-Eng）が設立されました。本校もそのひとつに属し、“アジアの地域の活動の中心”としての役割が与えられています。この独自の世界ネットワークを生かして互いの智慧を交換する活動も進んでいます。

［１］-1 直近の国際交流（IUSミーティング）

2019年3月7～9日には、再生可能エネルギーをテーマにフィリピンやパプアニューギニア、セブのIUS加盟校から教授を招聘し、国際社会のエネルギー問題に貢献すべく活発なセッションを行いました。今後5～6年かけて下記の3つのステップでさらなる発展を目指します。

First Step

Assessment and evaluation of the Renewable Energy Education at Salesio Japan, DBTC Mandaluyong, DBTC – Cebu, and　DBTC PNG.
(From March, 2019 to August, 2020) Each institution will gather data about what they are doing in educating the students regarding renewable energy. It has been agreed that the study will cover only the participants` institution, not the whole region, and that only students in technical programs will be involved. The output of this will be presented in the JSEE International Conference.

Second Step

Development of Curriculum for Renewable Energy Education.
(From August, 2019 to April, 2020) The data gathered in the first step will be used to develop a curriculum which will then be implemented on each institution.
