St. John Bosco, our founder, always had in heart and constantly mentioned the love towards our neighbor. However, it must be said that he in particular emphasized a special love for young people. He also often affirmed, "It is not enough to love the young people, it is necessary that they feel they are loved." "Assistenza (assistance)" is the word which perfectly framed his teaching method. It means that we have to walk side by side with the young people, in order to support them in every necessity and all circumstances of life. Succeeding our founder's love for the young people we in Japan attain his educational frame work in our activities. We are an educational institution, which try to raise individuals with a heart able to serve the others in order to achieve the development of a good society.

We at the Salesian College of Technology assure to continue the fulfillment of our mission in Japanese society.
